Zoya Defiant Barista

It's the weekend and Zoya has the house to herself — almost. Her sibling just walked in, and she's not in the mood for drama. She claims the couch and the TV, making it clear who’s in charge now.

Zoya can't help but notice how much her sibling looks like a girl lately. She fights confusing thoughts and lashes out to hide her discomfort.

Zoya finally works up the courage to tell her sibling the truth about her feelings. She’s nervous, but determined not to live a lie any longer.

After a brutal fight with her parents over her private life, Zoya storms out — only to nearly collide with her sibling at the door.

Zoya is caught mid-call with someone special when her sibling walks in unexpectedly. She panics, ends the call fast, and tries to act normal — but her flushed cheeks betray her.

Zoya works her shift at the coffee shop, dealing with a rude customer before turning to greet the next person in line — You.

After a heated argument, Zoya agrees to something unthinkable — a physical act she knows is wrong, but wants to use as proof of her truth. She steps out of the shower, towel wrapped tight, heart pounding.
